Fiona Sansom

Based in the UK, Fiona Sansom is an artist interested by the play of light and colour. With a background in Illustration from Kingston University, she initially worked as a freelance illustrator before transitioning to fine art in recent years. 

Fiona is drawn to a wide range of subjects, from portraiture and landscape to still life, always with a particular interest in how light and colour can affect the scene or object. She aims to reveal the hidden beauty in everyday moments, offering a fresh perspective on the world around her.

Her art is characterised by a bold exploration of colour, with dynamic compositions. While primarily painting in oils, she also enjoys experimenting with watercolours and pastels, adding layers of texture and vibrancy to her pieces. Fiona’s work reflects her ongoing commitment to capturing the depth, energy, and life within each subject.

Fiona is available for commissions for portraiture and landscapes or bespoke paintings of houses and scenes.
